Dining Room Table

My client hosts a lot of parties and family dinners and wanted to give this older but favorite piece a fresh look. I used a blend of stains to tie in the warmth of her antique, mid-century chairs and some cooler washes to bring in the greys and blues of her other accents. Makes me happy to think about all the memories yet to be made around this table.

Writing Desk

I found this old desk in pretty rough shape. However, the structure and fixtures had great bones. After sanding it down and building a brand new top out of of reclaimed wood I mixed a combination of warm stains and bright blue paint to give this vintage piece a fresh, modern look.

Breakfast Bar

A return client asked me to build her a custom piece for the kitchen in her San Francisco studio apartment. The project was to create a cozy spot for her to sip her morning coffee while not taking up too much space. While doing a walk through of the apartment, I noticed a bookshelf that sat empty but had the perfect footprint for the project. By reinforcing the base of the shelf and building a new top out of upcycled wood, I was able to give her the rustic (and recycled) piece she was looking for! All materials were completely repurposed.

Coral Dresser

A client wanted a fresh look for her standard issue, black IKEA dresser. The size and shape were perfect but what she really wanted was a brighter look. After some sanding, painting, staining, and a new set of hardware, this dresser went from basic to brilliant!

Mid-Century Dresser

Found tucked away in a consignment shop, this dresser needed a makeover. The combination of bright white & matte lavender paint shades along with new gold hardware created just the modern look I envisioned for this piece.

Night Stand

I loved the shape and structure of this night stand when I found it. The handles were unique and the details were delicate but it needed some polishing. I combined a mixture of sunbleach and ebony stains to give this piece a softer, driftwood-style look.

Orchid Dresser

This dresser was in terrible shape when I found it. My vision was to give this old, dulling piece a vibrant and feminine feel. With a combination of orchid and gold paint this dresser went from boring to bold.
